  1. Hi Dom,
Thank you for visiting my blog. I love your writing. I can really feel myself slip inside your character’s skin and see out through their eyes. That’s a gift. Keep writing and nursing. I have been cared for by some wonderful nurses and you guys can really cheer up a patient’s day at a time when life can pretty much be at its worst xx Rowena

    • Hey there Rowena! Thanks for visiting my blog as well. I really appreciate the kind words, and I’m so glad that you have had good experiences with nurses. I hope that I can give people those same types of experiences when I’m a registered nurse!

      • You certainly seem to have the heart for it. Nurses are your first port of call in hospital. That said, your fellow patients are great too. I’ve been lucky all round and received the best medical treatment I could ask for.

  2. Enjoy your nursing career, Dom. Mine (50 years) was good to me–although I’m enjoying the creativity of my retired life. (I worked primarily with death and dying–hospice, AIDS in the early years of the epidemic, LTC and home care. If I had to do it over, I would get my advance degree in clinical rather than administrative nursing, though–just a bit of advice) :0) And thanks for following me.

  3. Wow, you’re actually not that much older than me! I think what you’re pursuing is a great career, and we need more people willing to take on that kind of responsibility. Good luck with your journey into nursing 🙂

  4. Thank you for visiting my blog and following. And don’t worry about the run-ons and fragments the most important thing is a good story one that will make people want to read it again and again and never want to put it down… Oh I think I just did a run-on.

  6. Very cute about the “bane”, run-on sentences. Good nurses are God’s angels–praying for you to have success, satisfaction, and to be a blessing to others, especially your patients. I’ll be back later–I’m off to church.

  7. Hey there! please dont take this the wrong way, just a quick question, but do you have any form of social life outside of this blog? i hope that doesnt sound bad lol
I understand you at taking college courses, and i know how busy that can be, especially if you are applying yourself, but how do you make any time for this blog and a real social life?
tbh I dont have much of a social life as of right now, but still find it hard to find time to write, much less read others material. whats your secret ???
