Peer Pressure (Interactive Poetry)

Another repeat participant in my interactive poetry! The Writer from A Teens Insight gave me some words to work with this week and they are (Live, Hypocrite, and Peer Pressure) and here is what I came up with

Peer Pressure

When college is where you live
It’s hard to stay focused
On what you need to give
When distracctions swarm like locusts
All these vices will turn you
Into such a hypocrite
It’s all you can do
Not to be a dissident
By cavving to peer pressure
And disregarding your morals
Though you were never
One for getting into quarrels
Mindlessly following others
Would lead you into them
Actions that wouldn’t please your mother
Even though all your problems would stem
From your bad decisions
College has a way
Of going differently than you’d envisioned
All in the course of a single day
